This is my (in)activity log. You might like to visit
Collabora
Productivity a subsidiary of Collabora focusing on LibreOffice support and
services for whom I work.
Also if you have the time to read this sort of stuff you could enlighten
yourself by going to Unraveling Wittgenstein's net or if
you are feeling objectionable perhaps here.
Failing that, there are all manner of interesting things to read on
the LibreOffice Planet news
feed.

M&D left, slept much of the day - not well;
really sad to miss out on spending time with the family.
R&A&E&L left too.
-
Breakfast, prepped for an influx of family, B&A.
and Sue,Clive, A&J. arrived - with Mary Rogers. Had a
lovely lunch together in the garden - celebrating our wedding
anniversary and J's birthday.
-
Lots of neighbours and friends arrived for a party in
the evening with buffet - until late.
-
Our family ill overnight, bother.
-
Rob & Amelia arrived with L.&E. Rob worked,
while we slugged about in the sun in the garden with the
family. Lovely to see everyone and to have some time off.
Babes into the Memorial Gardens in the afternoon. J. cooking
much of the day. Slept in my office with J. - sixteen in
the house: fun.
-
Poked at some hackery, added some debugging bits to the
forkit to chase a problem. Submitted a LibOCon paper
really looking forward to meeting up with people in person. And
continued working on our very awesome (but no longer co-located)
COOL
days which will be in Berlin immediately afterwards with Eloy.
-
Tom & Beckie arrived, lovely to see L. & S. too.
Trampolining, pottered around with M&D who arrived later.
-
Mail chew, catch-up calls left & right; calls with
interns & Pedro.
-
Band practice with H. in the evening ; chat with Thorsten.
-
David arrived early, off into London together - long tube
ride, admired the Elizabeth line with E. - out to Grenwich Park
for lunch. Checked out a camera-assisted Aldi test-store: taking
things and putting them in your bag makes you feel like a
shop-lifter oddly.
-
On to the Nautical museum, Queens museum, then enjoyed
climbing over the Millennium dome as a family with David,
Wagamamas afterwards, tube/drive home.
-
Mail chew, planning call, partner call, sat in on the first
part of the TDF board call. Setup calls with interns, tried to clear
various decks approaching holidays. Call with Caolan - sorry to see
him step down from the board - difficult problems to wrestle there.
-
AllSaints PCC meeting; minuted it.
-
All Saints in the morning, Alex played Bass for the 1st time:
nice, can play the violin instead. Pizza lunch. Read LOTR to babes.
Cleaned up and circulated the PCC minutes.
-
Up; poked at mail briefly; out to get some skirting
from the wonderful Barhams,
great service. Home, lunch, fitted in J's counselling room,
cut holes for lights.
-
Did two on-line Anglican SafeGuarding courses of 90mins
each, less traumatic than feared - and mostly common sense it
seems.
-
H's birthday - two back-to-back celebrations of babes.
Out to Holkham beach - enjoyed prolonged slugging & slept
in the sun for a bit while babes chatted, paddled & played.
Fish & Chips on the way home.
-
J's 50th birthday, babes prepared a cooked breakfast
for her, presents, cards. 1:1 with Miklos, COOL community call.
Assembled J's swinging seat with the babes over lunch.

Very pleasant catch-up with Miguel, what a hero - got
a lot of reading. House group BBQ in the evening - good to see
lots of people.

All Saints in the morning with Tim & S + H. music
and encouragement. Home for a pizza lunch. Got Time & S.
into windlands on Quest in the afternoon. Prince of Egypt
in the evening, tea, bed.
-
Up early, got a number of things sorted out around the
house - windows insulated, tried to adjust M's bloc-blind which
seems to want to cut a hole in itself.
-
Tim & Suzie, and family
over after lunch - lovely to see them, rested outside in the
garden for a while and caught up on SIL, Thailand, software,
Graphite and more.
-
Took J. to the on-call doctor late; thank God for
antibiotics.
-
Mail chew, rescued J. from flat-tire nightmare at Tesco.
Home - Miriam Harley over with Mike to see us.
-
Amused by Lubos' huge
calc optimization blog. As always - the hardest part in improving
LibreOffice is finding customers who want to make a positive impact to
FLOSS by getting support; with thanks to Gerald.
-
Customer & Partner call, catch up with Gokay, and Jos.
-
Mail chew, call with Miklos. Out to drive J. for some minor
outpatient surgery. Lunch. Poked at memory sharing between forkit
children and their parents with Noel for a bit. Positive Bible Study
group in the evening.

showroom. Home.

in Software Engineering:
-
David over for mexian food in the garden, attacked the hedge
and various trees together to get them a bit under control.
-

the neck still; bisected a rendering problem out of calc at
some length. Estimation, etc.
-
Call with Emiliano; pleasant Bible study group in
the garden in the evening.
-
Sales call with Eloy, good to get back to that.
Spent some time debugging sheet geometry building in online,
chased and reviewed various patches, caught up with old mail.
-
Mail chew; chat with Tor, catch up with Mert; poked at
some LibreOffice tickets and code.
-
Watching these home videos of ammunition dumps exploding
through glass windows gives me the creeps: the Halifax Explosion
ended up with buckets full of eyes, after glass window fragments
damaged so many watching the show from indoors.
-
Spent some time filling the skip with unwanted bits of
junk & foliage with J. Managed to fall off a fatigued aluminium
ladder while cutting the hedge: and survived with bruises - thank
God. Ladder a write-off.
