Up early, caught the end of Caolan's talk, and Miklos'
content controls. Lots of interesting technical talks from
various people. Hallway-track until the GSoC panel - lovely to
see H. showing off her Writer / VBA testing work.

Met up at the B&B Hotel, out in the evening for
pizza with friends ; bed late.

Up early. Off to the venue, opening talks,
sponsor's keynote:

Vegan lunch; somewhat slimming. Various other
talks, worked on slides.

Out to an equisite night of Italian pasta for the whole conference
kindly hosted by Italo & his wife - a good chance to sync with Florian.

Up early; mail chew; catch up with Kendy,
breakfast with H. and Cor too. More work, off to
the venue.

Community day goodness, great to meet lots
of old friends & get a better feel for what the
community is thinking. Pizza dinner, worked on
slides until very late.

Packed, drove with H. to Stansted, flight together
to outside Milan, bus into town - got some pizza &
gelato. Off to the hotel, worked on slides for a while.
Out for dinner with H. and a lot of passing hacker-types.

Mail chew, planning call; worked on slides through
much of the day until late.

All Saints in the morning; back for pizza, watched
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy with J. and H.
Quick catch-up with Robert.

Up lateish, mowed the lawn with J. packed away
summer patio furniture, crammed things into the garage.
Out for a walk with H. and M. around Gazely in the rain.
David over in the evening for pulled-pork, caught up with
Colin Furze's latest tunneling together. Bed early.

Mail chew, worked on slides, catch up with Gokay,
calls variously - more slide work. Watched Amazon's
LOTR follow-on.

Catch up with Miklos, COOL community call, chat with
Frank, sync with Mert, lunch. Andras catch-up, partner &
customer call. Worked on slides.

Catch up with Tor, sales call, partner call, all-hands,
catch up with Gokay. Zstd compression held up by Android & iOS,
hmm. All Saints band practice in the evening with H.

Up very early cleaning up zstd compression to get it merged,
should be noticably faster. Catch up with Kendy, long partner call,
chat with Frank, Monthly Mgmt meeting.

Planning call, admin, H' sent her appeal.

Pleased with Justin Welby's sermon.

All Saints music in the morning with H, home for a
pizza lunch with Julie & Isaac. Watched new Amazon LOTR
bits in the evening with H. Picked up babes from StAG - E's
1st time.

Worked with H. on her appeal variously; helped to build a
model of anomalies in examinations with many follow-on questions;
not looking very sensible.

Call with Gokay, Mike, Tor, Mert, Gokay. Long
overdue catch up with Karen. Interview with Italo.
Worked with H. on various bits.

Catch up with Miklos, COOL community meeting,
Kendy, Andras, chewed the mail backlog. Reviewed
H's Durham appeal with her, and took her to Ely to
see Christina.

Sales call, partner call re: (mostly) Kubernetes -
interesting. Catch up with Gokay. All Saints band practice
with H. and Alex in the evening.

Sync with Kendy, surprising partner interaction

partner project management call.

Planning calls; E-mail, caught up with various
team-mates left & right.

All Saints, played with H. in the morning. Robert's
first service - an outstanding exposition of Isaiah 6. Tons
of smaller kids too - which was encouraging.

Home for a pizza lunch with David. Slept some of the
afternoon - exhausted.

Up early; read the news. Bruce & Anne over -
ate together & caught up - lovely to see them.
Visited the growing floral tribute to QE II nearby.
Got J's counselling room into much better order - pictures
up - lots of wifely nesting action; fun.

Research with H. in the evening variously.

Distracted by E-mail, time with H. call with a friend
for advice. Caught up with Andras, Gokay. Spent lots of time
reading Durham university rubric. On the plus side, Ukraine
seems to be doing encouragingly well.

Catch up with Eloy late.

Call with Mike K, Miklos, COOL community call
Picked up a very sad H. from the train station & spent
time with her in the afternoon. Caught up a bit in the
evening.

Posted a response to recent hard to believe:
disappointing
trademark pieces; disappointing.

Caught up with Tor and dug over some tricky permissions /
design issues with COOL font management. Marketing call with Naomi,
partner call on a larger k8s deployment.

Productivity intern review calls - an interesting crop of
students & work - great to catch up with them and see what's up.

All Saints Band practice in the evening with H. - fun.

Caught up with Kendy, mail chew & project mgmt bits.
Sync with Sophie in the evening. Picked H. and Sade up from the
train station - back from Athens.

Up early, E. back to school, worked - much of the day in calls:
planning, and individual catch-ups - marketing call.

Robert Otule's collation into his role as vicar in the evening
which was a most encouraging & moving experience - despite loosing
our organist & drummer at the last minute: good.

More teaching, singing, missed the rest of the family.
Helped tidy & clean up variously; home in the afternoon to
see the babes.

Rick taught on worship; systematic preaching is
far more challenging to get right than expository preaching.
Sang & played with Becky - badly missed a keyboard player.

Enjoyed getting to know our new vicar Robert Otule,
and his wife Florence & kids.

BBQ in the evening.
All-Saints got Talent in the evening - with a malfunctioning
muck-spreader song.

Catch up with Miklos, Andras, COOL community call,
some more Prometheus format wrestling. J. dug tree-roots
out of the garden.

Round of calls left & right - set off to
Sizewell Hall for the bi-annual Church weekend away, lovely
to spend some time together with the wider church family.
