My parents arrived - so lovely to see them, out for
a walk to the race-course together, enjoyed the afternoon and
evening with them.

Home to make pizza lunch, relaxed and slept somewhat
in the afternoon with A. and family.

Breafast, headed down to help out the All Saints church
tidy-up, cleaned windows left & right with Alex's help.

Home, A. Louise, Georgina & Isabelle over for
lunch, enjoyed chatting with them in the sun, bid 'bye to
them. A. staying for the weekend.

Caught up with some work briefly, before an evening
concert with The Cambridge Singers.

Sync with Dave, call with Florian,Paolo,Thorsten &
others. Tea-time-training while eating lunch.

Tried to cleanup E-mail & task backlog. Discovered I
need to upgrade my clang, so did that and got code re-built.

Relaxed and watched Upload in the evening with J.
bit explicit in places.

Up early, breakfast, really enjoying the SmartHotel
emphasis on small & cheap room, with a great breakfast.

Collected bits from the venue, headed to the airport,
read on the plane, tired.

Worked in the taxi on the way back from Stansted.
Calls when I got home, plugged at admin, planning, etc.

Back to the venue, talked to lots of people,
enjoyed lots of talks.

Relaxed in the afternoon, watched nonsense
TV, and rested.

Up early, off to NCC for Men's prayer breakfast.
out to The Waggon together for breakfast. Home, got a bit
of admin work done, lunch with J.

Off into Aldeburgh to see Anne, lovely time with
her, dinner with Georgina & Louise, and home with J.

Sync with Dave, catch up with Thorsten & Tracie.
Lunch with J. masses of applied admin.

David over in the evening for pulled-pork; E.
wrestled car insurance with H.

Up early, admin, tech. planning call, sync with Laser,
lunch with J. catch up with mgmt team, and Thorsten.

E. passed her driving test - celebration Chinese dinner.

House group Lent Course, looked at Syncletica.

Lunch, mail chew, admin - shuffled calendar to
skip travelling to London, partner call, worked late.

Up early, off to Forefront Community Church with M. and N.
Enjoyed the service & preach, chatted afterwards.

Home for lunch with Nigel & Jane, admired N's room,
enjoyed the company.

Bid farewell, and drove back at some length to Newmarket.
Caught up with H. & E. bed, tired.

Picked up N. and drove to the Eden Project, nearly at
the 'toe' of England, some really large geodesic domes full of
interesting plants. Wandered around happily.

Packed-lunch, ice-cream visited a giant granite sed, and
sung Elizabeth Postern's The tree of life at it briefly.

Drove back via Exeter to see M's nice student house.

Up too early, breakfast, wandered the town with J.
happily for a while.
-
Tour of the Numatic factory with N. - wonderful to see
all the manufacturing goodness, injection molding, laser-cutting,
bending, welding, assembly and the great range of products
that they build - lovely.

Home for lunch, out for a walk to find the Chard caves,
rather a circuitous walk here, but eventually found some.

Back home, caught some sleep, M. arrived, natchos dinner.

Up early, tech. planning call, admin, sync with Lily.

Drove south with J. - nice dinner together at
The Bell Inn in Wylye, made good time. Got to Chard and met
up with N. found our AirBnB & slept.

Up early, out for a run with J. nice. Sync with Dave,
bulk admin, internal tech. call. Lunch, sync with Joao, then
Armin.

Pleased to see a really nice The
Open Road to Freedom index, making it easier to see
what is going on.

Finally managed to get my Apple account to let me
pay for a developer subscription - after lots of compound
problems wasting hours. Clearly I've hit some buggy
indeterminate state - still can't see subscriptions or
country information: perhaps I'm stuck mid-atlantic beween
two systems.

Up early, mail chew, 1:1's, marketing call, finally
got to E-mail in the evening and a little code.

Up early, played violin at All Saints, back for
quiche leftovers ("Give us today our daily quiche").

Slept a chunk of the afternoon, pulled together
some hymns for the evening service, then lead that with
Florence.

Home for dinner, and some relaxation.
