- Up early; shower, talk hacking, mail. Anil has
fixed recent-files it seems: great. Taxi with the LTC leader:
Dan Fry, interesting chap.
- Tried to get my slides copied, to no avail;
finished my slides, turned out my talk 30minutes earlier than
anticipated, no time to prepare the demos: drat.
- Talked, handours arrived in the middle - slides
here.
- Wandered the show floor, had a long and friendly
talk with Matthias of Qt fame; most interesting. Chatted
with Bill wrt. getting the Gnome devel book finished.
- Back to the hotel; had a quick, amusing Japanese
dinner with Nat & Miguel & David Patrick & Eric
Dask, off to a beano that happened yesterday; back for
pudding. Met Greg Jones of legal fame - long, and most
interesting discussion. Bed late.
My content in this blog and associated images / data under
images/ and data/ directories are (usually)
created by me and (unless obviously labelled otherwise) are licensed under
the public domain, and/or if that doesn't float your boat a CC0
license. I encourage linking back (of course) to help people decide for
themselves, in context, in the battle for ideas, and I love fixes /
