- Up late; pulled mail, Arvind doing nice
bonobo-toolbar keynav stuff, lots of good bits going on.
Spent a while trying to get the VPN kernel foo working
on SuSE - a number of silly build bugs, and a terminal
"can't ping localhost" problem - of course, the setup is
all done via a browser to 127.0.0.1 - which is problematic
if you can't route there. ( played with route, iptables to
no avail ).
- Talked to Nat and felt happier; switched to
evo-1.5, pretty looking, unfortunately ergonomically
hopeless, started filing bugs / looking at the code.
Pleasant chat with Luis, the feel-good factor is back.
Stunned that MarkMc got hired by RedHat - he is indeed
an impressive hacker.
- Dinner, packed everyone into the car and
drove to Hove, bed late.
My content in this blog and associated images / data under
images/ and data/ directories are (usually)
created by me and (unless obviously labelled otherwise) are licensed under
the public domain, and/or if that doesn't float your boat a CC0
license. I encourage linking back (of course) to help people decide for
themselves, in context, in the battle for ideas, and I love fixes /
improvements / corrections by private mail.
