Stuff Michael Meeks is doing

This is my (in)activity log. You might like to visit
Collabora
Productivity a subsidiary of Collabora focusing on LibreOffice support and
services for whom I work.
Also if you have the time to read this sort of stuff you could enlighten
yourself by going to Unraveling Wittgenstein's net or if
you are feeling objectionable perhaps here.
Failing that, there are all manner of interesting things to read on
the LibreOffice Planet news
feed.

- Up late; mail-pull is even slower when running
evo-1.5 in gdb and SIGPIPEs keep happening. Dispatched a hyper-
irritating ORBit2 build bug that's been lingering too long.
Yet another 'GetCorrectPath' fix; for people with '::' in
their path.
- Sent a shed load of OO.o artwork to Kai in .png
format, he's taking on the Alpha up-streaming that I've
abandoned. Dug at an OO.o autocompletion formatting bug,
interesting to read more of the sw code.
- Spent some time starting to look at XL importing
and the builtin debugging stuff in the OO.o code - with some
considerable pain.
- Tried to re-build OO.o packages for SuSE - assured
that my memory of non-functioning dependency-clobbering logic
on SuSE is not correct; battling the VPN client (only works on
RH9) vs. my hacking machine (SuSE 9), toggling the VPN, cvs
updates, then the daemon died / decided all build nodes were
dead; nice. Mailed the list - evo locked up in auto-completion,
left Luis with the pieces via IRC.
- J. stitched up a nice rag-doll for H. good stuff,
My content in this blog and associated images / data under
images/
and data/
directories are (usually)
created by me and (unless obviously labelled otherwise) are licensed under
the public domain, and/or if that doesn't float your boat a CC0
license. I encourage linking back (of course) to help people decide for
themselves, in context, in the battle for ideas, and I love fixes /
improvements / corrections by private mail.
In case it's not painfully obvious: the reflections reflected here are my
own; mine, all mine ! and don't reflect the views of Collabora, SUSE,
Novell, The Document Foundation, Spaghetti Hurlers (International),
or anyone else.
It's also important to realise that I'm not in on the Swedish Conspiracy.
Occasionally people ask for formal photos for conferences
or fun.
