Stuff Michael Meeks is doing

This is my (in)activity log. You might like to visit
Collabora
Productivity a subsidiary of Collabora focusing on LibreOffice support and
services for whom I work.
Also if you have the time to read this sort of stuff you could enlighten
yourself by going to Unraveling Wittgenstein's net or if
you are feeling objectionable perhaps here.
Failing that, there are all manner of interesting things to read on
the LibreOffice Planet news
feed.

- Helped Vivek with his Win32 build issues, and
discussed QA with Ramesh. Branched libbonobo for 2.6.0 so I could
commit a trivial, obvious fix; nice. Noticed another BonoboToolbar
bug fixed by the patch the release team rejected; nice - no RTL
support - annoyed.
- Vented at Mark and got distracted into a somewhat
amazing and unfortunate discussion with Jeff, who it seems I've
offended more than I'd ever anticipated; bother.
- Re-built evolution to tackle the bug stopping me
reading my desktop mailbox; added a pre-condition, apparently not
so good.
- Lots more work trying to comprehend the calc -> XL
representation compiler. Got macro references exporting and
re-importing ~properly; nice.
- Out for a run, beef-burger dinner (de-frosting the
freezer tomorrow), J. out to counselling, did some admin/hacking.
- Spent a while removing / reading BUILD_SPECIAL hacks
in the OO.o build tree, it seems very few of them do anything
interesting; patched those that do. Added more Win32 conditionals
to ooo-build, tried to help Aaron with his hanging OO.o document
to no avail; corrupted stack traces, useless straces etc.
- Realised I'd forgotten J's jam-tarts in the oven -
a cremated nightmare; luckily remembered the flan; bed.
My content in this blog and associated images / data under
images/
and data/
directories are (usually)
created by me and (unless obviously labelled otherwise) are licensed under
the public domain, and/or if that doesn't float your boat a CC0
license. I encourage linking back (of course) to help people decide for
themselves, in context, in the battle for ideas, and I love fixes /
improvements / corrections by private mail.
In case it's not painfully obvious: the reflections reflected here are my
own; mine, all mine ! and don't reflect the views of Collabora, SUSE,
Novell, The Document Foundation, Spaghetti Hurlers (International),
or anyone else.
It's also important to realise that I'm not in on the Swedish Conspiracy.
Occasionally people ask for formal photos for conferences
or fun.
