Up early; off to our old house which we let: recently vacated. Yet more pornographic junk to remove; the door-punching fetish appears to have been exercised & inexpertly repaired - why don't they pick on solid doors instead ? nevertheless - no masonry / doors / windows stolen: good.
Upgraded my evolution to 2.4.1 snaps (thanks Jessica) for SL100 (had to force install libsoup for various unfortunate reasons). Started to pull my POP mail at speed. Gekker sent me a couple of critical packages, got NetworkManager installed too.
Re-built glibc with different options, - seemingly it crashes for any non-trivial usage without my hacks too, not a good base-line for development. Spent a while debugging an accidental linkage of a test binary with -shared; hmm.
"Issue Tracker is currently undergoing maintenance. Please check back later" (IZ); hmm. Kelli's staff meeting. Dug at a corrupted OLE2 file - "doesn't load in OO.o" - doesn't load in MS Office either.

J. out to PCC meeting, lots of time & space to do some sexy binutils / glibc hacking - a nice test harness in place, running /lib/ld-linux.so <app> is best. Added some basic vague symbol tagging / pruning and got something nicer:

Also got ld-linux.so to resolve at least some symbols in the direct scope nicely. Calmed down & conditionalized the run-time debug in ld.so; tomorrow will re-link OO.o & clobber the system libraries to see what gives (no doubt threading will kill me).
