sync() slowing
down boot - of course, that just moves the problem to somewhere else
in my case some umount -alt nfs,nfs4 call - but, presumably
that can be fixed too in due course. Either way - calling sync when you
just want to fsync a single file eg. /etc/mtab is somewhat
anti-social anyway (surely).

images/ and data/ directories are (usually)
created by me and (unless obviously labelled otherwise) are licensed under
the public domain, and/or if that doesn't float your boat a CC0
license. I encourage linking back (of course) to help people decide for
