Up early, mail chew. Pleased to see Karl Fogel have success building LibreOffice - and looking forward to Producing Open Source Software v2.
Irritatingly discovered (mid-way through writing a rare web-E-mail at E-mail a prisoner) that the wonder ~/.xmodmap goodness to kill the appalling Lenovo 'loose your e-mail' buttons next to the arrow keys doesn't work. I could swear GNOME used to have a beautiful keyboard layout options page somewhere, that seems to have vanished. Seems I need to run:

```
in my .xsessionrc.
