Early partner, project wrap-up call. Caught up with Lily, plugged through lots of admin. Weekly sales meeting.
Amused to see my enthusiasm about smaps_rollup somewhat tempered by an amazing issue, heorically found & fixed by Caolan. On some systems rewinding & re-reading the file grows it indefinitely. Why do that you ask? owing to permission models, even if you drop privileges a normal process can't see your /proc/smaps_rollup, so we have to open once, pass the descriptor via a UDS to the supervising process and ... similar fun. Thankfully Linus fixed it already it seems.
Partner call. All Saints band practice with E. in the evening.
