Up early; quick poke at slides, English cooked breakfast.
Gave my OggCamp keynote.

Handed out lots of beavers, stickers and more at the booth;
lots of fun - nice to meet old friends and chat to them.

Up early, mail chew, sync with Dave, catch up
with Laser, organized schedule for the next busy days.

Plugged away at slides, packed baggage left
and right. Set off by train to Manchester for OggCamp.
Extraordinarily met Jenny on the train at Grantham.

More slides, arrived, chat with Simon, found
a kebab, worked on slides until too late.

Up early; good chat at breakfast with a
product manager; taxi & train race to the
Eurostar.

Plugged away at COOL-days slides on
the train. Got home, rejoiced to see the family at
least briefly.

More work on slides, planning, spreadsheets
etc. Home group in the evening: bring a Psalm, mine
was Psalm 34

Up early, mail chew, out to a Domino Workspace
talk, then a Linux Desktop (instead of Windows 11) talk -
encouraging to see interest in FLOSS desktops return.

Published the next strip: Code of conduct - "loosing the peace"

Lunch; back to the hotel for a brief Quarterly
Mgmt meeting, and a rest. Speakers dinner in the evening,
great to meet up & go deeper over a meal on where the
technology is used. Bed late.

Up early, off to HCL
Engage in a football stadium for Richard's keynote,
Jason's flashy Domino / AI demo, product management bits,
and of course Collabora Online integration announced.

Gave talk on COOL, handed out huge numbers of
beavers, quick-start guides, stickers and more. Great to
talk to lots of excited people engaged with Sovereign
alternatives.

Dinner in the evening, met more interesting people.
-
Up early, bid 'bye to J, H & E. , mail chew, calls, worked
on slides.
-
Helped Octopus battery lady get things
nailed down.
-
Worked on train to Eurostar terminal,
more work there.
-
All Saints, Bass with Lydia on drums, with
some violin mixed in. Sue spoke well.

Back for a pizza lunch, slugged variously,
out for a walk on the dyke with J&M, some amount
of lazing and admiring the sky happily.

Home; mended mower, got the garage somewhat
tidier; catch-up call with Robert.

Finished Small Prophets: amusing. Picked up
H. from the station - back from Madrid.

J. out to give talks on youth mental health
for YFC at their conference.

Plugged away at some COOL-days slides -
finally made some progress.

Repaired top-floor toilet-seat with M.
Went to town epoxy resining and screwing some
ply to the wall in the garage to better fix
pump plumbing.

J. home, M. for a run, walked out on the
race-course together happily.

Out to Turkoman with M.N. and J. to
pre-emptively celebrate 24 years of marriage
together.

Watched the weird, but amusing
Small Prophets.

Sync with Dave; final interview, and offer with
a new staff member. Internal Tea Time Training.

Catch up with Astor, then Oliver, sync with Chris
on yet another update responding to TDF.

Internal tech staff planning call, sync with Naomi.
Admin, lunch, sync with Lily, then Laser, then CODE 26.04
marketing call.

Up early, out for a run with J.2 - fun. Breakfast,
mail chew. Sync with Dave, then Laser, update with Stephan.

Published the next strip: Staff relations - "who represents whom?"

Quick lunch with M. then internal TTT, interview,
TC meeting, sync with Philippe.

Mail chew, planning call, catch up with Fabian,
lunch, sync with Andras, responded to Joe.

Worked with Miklos on an estimation / proposal,
poked at beaver shipping.

Up early, mail chew, back to back 1:1's,
helped a friend with a supporting quote, marketing
content call and more.

M. home in the evening - lovely to have her
home again.

All Saints, lead worship, home for Pizza lunch.
Pottered around the garden putting up wire for J's roses.

Helped E. weld up her broken makeup stool leg,
finally got the MIG welder to work nicely.

H. home spent some time with
her.
-
Up earlyish, poked at E-mail, worked through the
latest TDF oddness and correcting it with updates to updates.

Set too in the garage with David in the afternoon;
moved tiles, slate & mortar bits somewhere sensible,
cut down cupboards and re-arranged things to make space.

H. back from Anne's with bits of lathe in boxes.
-
Early call with Oliver & Thorsten, sync with Dave,
call about file-pickers with Stephan; Rash's TTT.

Plugged away at text, trying to explain complex topics
simply during the afternoon, picked up H's car with J. Cheska
over to stay in the evening.
