Blissful experience of actually getting
meeting notifications with new thunderbird plugin
- wow.

Lunch, partner payment setup call. Ben
& Myriam visited - lovely to see the whole
family. Shareholder meeting, sync with Dave.

Sync Miklos, Mohit, some more admin.
Content marketing review, sync with Naomi, Pedro
& Eloy.

Deeply irritated to miss another appointment
due to there being no possible way to get Thunderbird
to actually remind you that an appointment starts ~now.
Not helped (somehow) by GNOME notifications also turning
up quarter of an hour+ late - completely unclear why.
Spent some time writing the world's worst Thunderbird
extension actually notify you of meetings.

Out for a run with J. relaxed in the evening.

Up early, weirdly Addenbrooks do ultrasound
imaging appointments on Sundays - all well. Back to
All Saints after the sermon & peace.

Home for Pizza lunch with J. relaxed, put a
1st thin coat of polyurethane paint on the floor:
and left it to dry in the heat.

Relaxed in the evening with a returned H.

Up early, poked at tasks, more hacking, plugged
away at some officeotron pieces - one of the weightier
Java pieces in the massively parallel CI / memory profile.

Sealed an area of garage floor in the evening
with Julia, the concrete absorbs rather a surprising
amount of sealer in places.

Dropped H. into Cambridge to visit M., and out
for a walk with J. in the sun - lovely.
-
Up late, hacked at various topical problems
through the morning. Out into Cambridge to navigate the
multiple layers of security to get into our co-location
facility to get CI hardware up and running again. An
interesting combination of too-cold, and too-hot in the
server room depending which side of the rack you are.

Watched more Silo with H. and Barney.

Early catch-up with Frank, tech planning call.
Sync with Laser, sales team call, some hacking.

Minuted Worship Committee meeting at David's
in the evening.

Up too early, mail chew, plugged at stats generation.
Encouraging scripting call with Stephan and others.

Sync with Gokay, Tracie, Anna & Laser, then
Tobias & Thorsten, Alex & Victor, Anna & Timur
then snatched lunch.

Up in the night, bit of hacking. Mail chew, planning call.
Customer call, admin, lunch, random sales call.

Plugged away at building code, stats, slides and more.

Slept reasonably - good; mail chew from a couple of days off;
sync with Miklos, Thorsten, Eloy & the marketing content team.

Up early, packed variously, bid 'bye to M&D,
and the American Meeks.

Into Cambridge for H's baptism at Christ Church;
with B&C&C, Mary Rogers and several of H's friends.
A lovely service & dunking - out to Browns for lunch
together.

Bid 'bye to N., dropped M & J & Sade to the
station to help move M. into her new London home.
-
Dropped Mary home, slugged a bit, prepped music for
and ran the evening service - Charlee spoke well. Relaxed.
-
Prepped for Dad's 90th' birthday party - bunting,
shade-sails, chairs, move-able plant-pots, tidying loop.
Lots of hands on deck - great to see. B&C&C here
too.

Grant & Anne arrived - had some bubbly, lunch
together; toast for Dad & some words from him,
girls Quartet, Lydia on the piano.

David over, babes played football with the uncles,
caught up with B&C, lots of tidying, cleanup. R&A
headed home.

Slept somewhat poorly in the office with J. on a sofa-bed
- spoiled by blackout blinds normally. Breakfast, girls & people
out to see ponies; breakfast, then out to tour the National stud.

Out for a walk with M&D to the golf course. N. home
in the afternoon - finally collected almost all the family in
one place: nice. Played games together variously. Barbara &
Colin over in the evening.

Practiced quartet with the girls until rather late - lots
of requests to keep going - fun. Talked until late.

Up earlyish, trains back to the UK and home. Met up with
T&B, babes, Peggie & Mum in the town playground - and took
the afternoon off; lovely to see them. Ice-creams, wandered home.

Caught up with Paul & Dad, relaxed variously, dinner
together. R&A& babes over in the evening; 20 of us with
Barnabus too - fun.

Up early, off to the EuroCommons event nearby,
lots of interesting people to talk to, and some great
talks for much of the day.

Drinks, and out for dinner with some openDesk
friends.

Mail chew, planning call - the summer holiday
season starts to bite - hopefully in a staggered way.
Sync with Anuj, Anna, a long series of trains to Paris,
managed to get some work done on some of them.
